DeCipherLabs

DeCipherLabs is an early-stage, on-chain payroll system for Web3 teams.

The goal is straightforward: pay salaries in crypto without forcing employees to absorb unnecessary volatility.

Background

Many crypto-native teams still run payroll manually and pay salaries in volatile assets. When prices move, the risk is pushed entirely onto employees. This creates uncertainty and operational friction.

DeCipherLabs explores payroll as on-chain infrastructure rather than ad-hoc transfers.

What we are building

At a high level:

A payroll contract per organization

On-chain salary configuration per employee

Crypto-based salary payments

An experimental hedge vault to reduce salary volatility over time

The system is being built incrementally. Correctness comes before automation.

Current status

Deployed on Base Sepolia (testnet)

Core payroll flow is functional

Hedge vault exists as a proof of concept

Payroll execution is currently manual

No oracle or Chainlink automation yet

This is not production-ready.

Security audits

These are intentionally deferred until the core design is validated.
