- SCP-7814, also known as "Telekill Alloy," is a special metal that appears gray-green with a bluish tint and rusts easily when wet. Its main ability is to create a "negative psychic field" which blocks or weakens mind-affecting powers, making it useful for containing dangerous entities and securing sensitive information. However, this field also causes unconscious stress in people nearby, leading to memory problems, increased anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues over time, essentially dulling their minds. Despite these severe side effects on personnel, the organization continues to use it widely due to its cost-effectiveness and perceived benefits in preventing casualties, even going so far as to obscure its true dangers from most employees.

- Operation Nifty Package was a United States military operation conducted in 1989 as part of the invasion of Panama, primarily aimed at capturing Manuel Noriega, the de facto ruler of Panama. The operation involved U.S. Navy SEALs and Delta Force, initially tasked with destroying Noriega's private jet and gunboat. When Noriega took refuge in the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See, American forces surrounded the building and employed psychological warfare tactics, including blaring loud rock music and other disturbing noises, to pressure him into surrendering. After ten days of this "precisely calibrated psychological campaign" by the Papal Nuncio, Noriega eventually surrendered to U.S. forces on January 3, 1990.
