Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18+ installed
  • Supabase account and configured project
  • (Optional) Groq API key for AI features

Installation

  1. Install dependencies:

    npm install

  2. Configure environment variables in .env:

    VITE_SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_url
VITE_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=your_supabase_anon_key
VITE_GROQ_API_KEY=your_groq_api_key_here (optional)

  3. Apply database migrations:

    • Navigate to Supabase SQL Editor
    • Run all migration files from supabase/migrations/ in chronological order

  4. Start development server:

    npm run dev

  5. Build for production:

    npm run build

Known Limitations

  • Groq API key must be configured client-side (consider proxying in production for enhanced security)
  • No offline support currently
  • No real-time collaboration features
  • PWA capabilities not yet implemented
  • Advanced search and filtering limited to ideas section
  • Export functionality currently available only for ideas
