Co-Founder and CTO at Blend, building compliant yield infrastructure for neobanks and fintechs. Blend is a control plane and execution engine for DeFi yield distribution. Partners integrate once through our API and gain access to curated strategy baskets from vetted yield curators. Every end user is provisioned their own isolated Gnosis Safe via our Separately Managed Account (SMA) architecture, enforcing fund isolation at the account level with permissioned automation scoped through on-chain execution modules and transaction guards. No pooled vaults. No commingled funds. Full auditability per account. Blend orchestrates cross-chain routing via LayerZero, automated rebalancing, derisking thresholds, and ongoing position management across chains, giving partners a compliant, non-custodial yield layer without building any of the underlying infrastructure.
Previously Frontend Lead at Across Protocol and UMA at Risk Labs, where I spent 3 years building intent-based systems, cross-chain interoperability, and high-reliability onchain money movement.
- Co-Founder and CTO at Blend, leading protocol design, architecture, engineering execution, and security processes
- Designed Blend's Separately Managed Account (SMA) architecture, provisioning per-user Gnosis Safes with permissioned automation and scoped execution modules
- Built Blend's omnichain execution layer using LayerZero for cross-chain routing, rebalancing, and strategy deployment
- Helped ship and scale Across Protocol, contributing to systems that facilitated $30B+ in cross-chain volume
- Contributed to the UMA Optimistic Oracle, the core truth layer powering applications like Polymarket
- DeFi protocol design and implementation
- Control plane architecture and permissioned automation
- Intent-based systems and routing
- Cross-chain and interoperability infrastructure
- Stablecoins, FX, and onchain yield systems
- Risk-aware financial primitives
- Compliant yield distribution and marketplace infrastructure
- Security-first production engineering with 8+ third-party audits across Sherlock, Cantina, and Zellic
I combine a formal background in computer science and quantitative finance with hands-on experience building systems that operate under real economic load and regulatory scrutiny.
My work sits at the intersection of:
- Protocol engineering and control plane architecture
- Quantitative finance and structured products
- Cross-chain execution and risk isolation
- Compliant, auditable financial infrastructure for fintechs
- M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance
- M.Sc. in Computer Science
- B.Sc. in Computer Science and Economics
Always happy to connect or talk protocols, execution systems, and what we're building at Blend.
