I started with gherkin since that was the context of the original user request. I briefly considered extracting the copy/paste into a modular React component but stopped when it became apparent that there would be considerable effort to rework more of the UI, which we are tracking in a separate ticket and is coupled with the API design. I opted for quick MVP focused on the software developer / product manager (validate my tool's capabilities) user persona. The requirements for an end user (validate the content of the model I am delivering) is different and I didn't want to go too far in one direction at the expense of the other. |
