Lindis Notes distributes incoming MIDI to a group of consumers linearly. As an example, you can spread out a melody between different synths, where each note is played by one of the synths.
Lindis Mix distributes a gain setting linearly between a group of consumers. In English, this means that you can shift focus between tracks on a one-at-a-time basis.
