# Getting Started with the ThingsIX Mapper

## General Rules about mapping
- you should use your mapper on the ground or very close to it (like in a car, bus, bike etc.) (not more than 4 Meters above the Ground!)
- dont use your mapper at high buildings, hills, antenna tower, planes, space stations, drones etc.
- please respect private areas like your neighbours gaarden, military bases and airports
- dont do stupid things! (mapping on cliffs, glue the mapper on your animals etc.)

## Charging
The ThingsIX Mapper has a USB-C connection that can be used for both powering the mapper and charging the mapper. Use a charger that can supply 2 Amps or more for a reliable charging and operating experience.
