I think this now works, which is helpful for adding fossils to the tree. We'll still need to adjust the leaf-production code to add
extinction_date = -1e4(see #126) for fossils with an unknown extinction date, (or the correct date in Mya if known). See life.html/@Dinornis_robustus=208456 on a server running 3.4 for an example (the spacing of the lines probably needs some adjusting too)
