Extensions crashing app on the new update

Describe the bug

When I try to install or open an extension the entire cromit crashes. Other than that it is stable, As long as I don't touch the extensions part of cromit.

Steps to reproduce the bug

Open cromit -> menu (3 dots top right) -> extensions -> pick an extension -> toggle a setting. Or try installing one from chrome web store.

Expected behavior

To not crash???

There no error report or crash report after the crash it just closes the app without warning. So no screenshots. Sorry. (And don't know how to troubleshoot) I'm very Sorry, again.

Everything works perfectly for me. Could it be caused by a specific extension? Could you tell me what you’ve installed?
Could you also confirm that you’re using the x64 platform? Is that correct?

same for me. trying to install any new extension on a fresh install results in a crash
