Talley is thinking of using FIB SEM data from Janelia CellMap (https://github.com/mehta-lab/waveorder/blob/main/docs/examples/models/phase_thick_3d.py) as a ground truth ultrastructure, assign approximate refractive index, compute scattering potential, and then simulate phase images using microsim.
