Overleaf

Hey, this template seems very good, I've used the base RPG-LaTeX-Template in overleaf, but when I tried to use yours, it didn't even compliled... Any adivice on that? I know it's a long shot, but thanks for the work anyway

I haven't even attempted to take a look at it on Overleaf. I did make a bunch of changes from RPG-LaTeX-Template, so I'm not really suprised. I'll take a look when I have some time but might not get to it for a while.

Also, try the standard-latex branch, see if that works and let me know. I'm trying to move the whole project that direction anyway.

I did some testing, RPG-LaTeX-Template compiled the cards, but not the "book", so it's a base problem. My mistake, sorry.

The message says it's an fatal error on the fontspec.sty, witch is from one of the required packages. It says to change to xelatex or lualatex from latex or pdflatex, something about typesetings... But it doesn't indicate witch package is the problem, so trying to trouble shoot is quite frustrating... Thanks anyway.

Ahh, I know exactly what this is, but I don't know how to fix it as it's an Overleaf issue, kinda.

Most xelatex & lualatex allow you to specify your own fonts, whether they be ttf, otf, or whatever. The other latex programs do not for whatever reason. If you try to build a project with this using xelatex it will work just fine, but pdflatex will fail until you remove all references to fonts. I believe the main issue is the fonstspec package is only for xelatex & lualatex... I'm not sure. But regardless, if Overleaf has an option to let you use one of those it should work just fine.
