Can't match branches counts with the paper results

I use the cjson as an example:
The total branchs are 700+,but the results in paper are 1379.

Why this? I observe the tool only detects the branches of the cjson.c apis, not detects the detailed called functions used by the apis in cjson.c.Maybe this question?How to fix the bug?
