Adobe Acrobat still detects internet connection despite .bat working correctly

Hi everyone,

I've successfully tested the .bat script and can confirm that it works perfectly for blocking internet access as intended. However, Adobe Acrobat still manages to detect that I'm not connected to the internet and subsequently blocks access to the application.
This raises a couple of questions:

• Has Adobe updated its security policies or license verification mechanisms recently (especially in late 2025)?
• Are standard firewall rules still sufficient to bypass Adobe's license checks, or have they implemented new methods that require additional configuration?

If anyone has insights or updated workarounds that are effective with the current version of Adobe Acrobat, I'd really appreciate your input.

Can you check if there are any Adobe executables located in directories other than the following:

• C:\Program Files\Adobe
• C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
• C:\ProgramData\Adobe

Just to clarify, all Adobe executables are indeed located within the specified folders, and there are no installations or binaries present outside of these directories (not I'm aware of).

From my observations, this issue appears to be specific to Adobe Acrobat, as all other Adobe applications are functioning correctly without any problems.

Just a thought-slash-question from random internet user; if Acrobat indicates different behaviour than all the other Adobe applications, might Acrobat be installed in the user AppData folder? Or otherwise be running a helper utility/service from a location outside of the directories @ph33nx listed?
