When attempting to right-click on a C++ statement and use 'Open Inline Chat', I received the error message 'Missing inline chat exit tool'.
As per GitHub Copilot Chat (Gemini 3 Pro (Preview)) I tried to resolve this by enabling or disabling the next version of Inline Chat using the Inline Chat: Enable V2 setting.

Since this setting was already enabled and causing the error message, I disabled the next version of Inline Chat. This prevented the error message but Inline Chat did not work correctly. For example, when using Inline Chat to ask about a particular C++ statement the response instead created a comment that summarized the C++ function containing the statement.

I am using Visual Studio Code - Insiders on Windows 11. Both are fully updated.
