do the results of this change over time due to closures or schedules? does the stations.json file need to be rebuilt on a regular basis? I'm not able to find stations in my stations.json that are showing up in https://wheresthefuckingtrain.com/

stations.json only needs to be rebuilt if new stations are added or removed from the system. Train routing changes will update automatically without need to update stations.json.

I was able to figure it out. In your experience is it necessary to rebuild on a regular basis? I was thinking of automating the ZIP download, unzip, and running your scripts. Also thinking of creating an endpoint for my esp32 to grab a copy when it's new. Just not sure this data changes enough to make it worth while or risk creating more problems.
