To estimate the shrimp data submitted to NIPAG we (in Sweden) require the width of 2 sorting sieves to be in RDBES. That information is routinely collected in our onboard and self-sampling programmes and used during estimation to partition samples from unsorted catches into size sortings.
In our database those sieves widths are associated to each haul (i.e., Fishing Operation). Information is collected in mm width a range spanning from 0mm to about 15mm, including NA (sometimes the 2nd sieve is absent).
