integrate ABAP SQL Services in CAP

Is there any information or way to import artifacts from an ABAP SQL service into CAP?

ABAP SQL is added as a remote source to SAP HANA. What is the most elegant way to import the artifacts as CDS so that I can work with them?

My approach would be to annotate the objects with @cds.persistence.exists, but they would still all have to be created manually.

I'm not sure if I can help you with that. Is the RFC plugin of any help in this scenario? Is the ABAP SQL service also available as OData service? If none of this applies maybe you can elaborate of what you'd expect.

I would expect the relevant external resources to be created as views within the project, or alternatively for the views to be annotated with exists.

Yes, you can also expose the SQL service as an OData service and copy and clean up all the artefacts. However, that makes things more complicated and cumbersome. That’s why I’m asking if there’s a standard way to import them.
