My suggestion: Kinda like how it says "Do you want to load this conversation?" (or something) in non-auto-restore mode, instead of making a side-by-side viewer like in AI Studio, just add a "Which conversation do you want to view?" and then it shows either or.
Later down the line we could add a feature where you can fully load two conversations (any, even if not in compare mode), simultaneous and compare them (similar to a diff-checker, how it matches line by line, but without the red/green lines, more akin to a Markdown Text to Preview Side-by-Side).
