I have this issues on two different setups, one is an Intel Nuc with Libreelect 12.0.2, the other aubuntu box with Kodi Omega.
Amazon Vod Add-on is 1.1.6
It started with me being unable to play any content successfully on the nuc device. So I uninstalled the add-on an re-installed. When I tried to sign in, the setting screen completely closed and I received only the prompts for the email address and the password. After entering the password, the prompt closes and dumps me on the apps screen. I don't get to save the credentials. This is the same on the Ubuntu box

How did you solve this?

Same problem here. Had to reinstall Kodi because the SD card seems to be broken. (I got various error messages when booting.)

I tried LibreELEC 12.2 and 12.0.2. Same problem, whichever version I used. After entering my email and password, I ended up back in the app overview.

I then copied the files from the “defective” SD card to the new one and everything works again.

Same here. The login dialog closes the addon in the background and login doesnt succeed.

What files did you copy from the old SD? Would be an ok-ish workround to write the credentials to xml directly

It should have been .kodi/addons/plugin.video.amazon-test folder.
