I have added more information to the documentation. Unfortunately, I don't have time to describe working with layers in detail. I'll do it soon. Thanks for waiting.

@LoginovIlya thanks a lot! I am indeed mostly interested in the layers part, but I can of course wait for more docs or try and figure it out myself. Will use this package in an experimental project starting mid July, so I hopefully can help with the docs.
