Register error

I get this error when clicking REGISTER or GIFTS or NEEDS at homepage:

when i click Register:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ')' in /home/user/public_html/application/libraries/Search/User_search.php on line 265

when i click Gifts or Needs:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ')' in /home/xfax/public_html/application/libraries/Search/Good_search.php on line 223

What version of PHP are you using? This requires 5.3

I cant reproduce your error during registration. Perhaps you can post a screenshot.

I just fixed the second issue in commit 7c8e5b6

Also, you asked about the administration. If you are talking about the admin area, note that we have not worked on that much at all. However, here is how you would ge there.

In the database modify your user to have an 'admin' role. Then log in as that user. The profile button in the top right should now have an "Admin Area" option.
