This is a design walkthrough of the redesign of SeedSigner by Yishi.

In this session, she'll share how she approached redesigning an open-source Bitcoin hardware wallet from an industrial designer’s perspective.

We’ll cover:

  • How to think about turning abstract ideas into real products

  • Her end-to-end design process: research, concept, form, and prototyping

  • How she used AI tools to speed up ideation and iteration

  • What decisions matter most when designing physical products — especially in early-stage projects

Rather than focusing on polished results, I’ll walk through real thinking, experiments, and trade-offs behind the project.
